Relaxation Massage focuses on giving the client time to recover from the stresses of daily life through relaxation. When you experience a relaxation massage, you can expect a treatment that involves long, smooth, gliding strokes that are rhythmic and flowing as well as pressure that is deeply relaxing, yet not painful. This is designed to soothe and relax you, not to relieve chronic pain or other underlying ailments.
Deep Tissue Massage is corrective and therapeutic. It focuses on the deeper layers of the muscle tissue. The purpose is to release chronic patterns of tension in the body and allow for greater mobility.
Neuromuscular Therapy alternates levels of concentrated pressure on the areas of muscle spasms and trigger points to relieve physical and neurological pain patterns. The massage therapy pressure is usually applied with the fingers, knuckles, or elbow. It’s often included in as part of deep tissue massage.
Myofacial Release incorporates a series of gentle, slow, and sustained stretches, allowing the collagen fibers to engage, soften, and release. This helps correct chronic body holding patterns.
Raindrop Therapy is a non-invasive treatment using specific essential oils on the feet and spine to alleviate symptoms of scoliosis, kyphosis, and other back ailments while strengthening the immune system.
Serenity Heated Stone Massage incorporates warm oiled stones, massaged over your back, arms, and legs, allowing for deep relaxation. (Not given during pregnancy.)
